Optical Coating

Transparent PC Heat Blocking

It is a coating technology that aims to prevent deformation of the PC by reflecting heat on the transparent PC surface, and is a vacuum thin film technology that completely blocks ultraviolet and infrared, and maximizes visible light for visibility.

Principle

This is a vacuum thin film deposition technology that uses a vacuum thin film deposition machine to selectively penetrate or block the transmission rate of a specific wavelength band through interference phase distance by repeated coating of highly refractive chemicals and low refractive chemicals on the product.

Wavelength Range of Light

Effect

  • Ultraviolet (200–380 nm) transmission rate of 1% or less
  • Visible light (380–780 nm) transmission rate of 83% or higher
  • Infrared (780–2,000 nm) transmittance 12% or less

* Excellent effect of infrared (heat) blocking

Applcable fields

  • Fire suit hood visors
  • Air respirator face visors
  • Industrial hood visors
